The Emperor- A Journey through the Major Arcana

Baybee!! It's time to get disciplined and focused! Embarking on week 4 of my journey through the Tarot I am blessed to be greeted by the Emperor card! To be honest, I need him! The energy surrounding this dominant, focused, digiligent male energy is something that I most definitely need to tap into. Well balanced and ruling with logic and intellect instead of being ruled by his emotions and feelings, he presents us with an energy that I think we all need at this time. After spending a week focusing on the intuitive vibrations of The High Priestess we are reminded to seek balance on this journey when we arrive to The Emperor on his throne.

Taking control of your life and implementing self-control and hard work are some of the many aspects of this card. When the Emperor shows up he reminds me of that older male energy that is successful in his finances, a man that has worked hard at creating a strong firm family tradition. He shows up to tell us that we are ultimately in complete control of our lives and it's up to us to establish the boundaries and rules that we live by.

He reminds of my grandfather, who was a wise, calm, and protective kind of man. My grandfather was an amazing hardworking man that took me and my siblings into his home while I was only 2 years old. After my grandmother passed away he made sure that his 10 children, plus myself and my brothers and sisters were all very well taken care of. Although we didn't have much, he was able to provide a life for us that created a family tradition and foundation that will always be unforgettable.

Male or female we need to examine our lives and figure out where we need more discipline. This week we need to focus on how to establish organization and focus, while pursuing the goals and dreams that we have set out for ourselves. Be practical, and logical! Time to get out of your heart and use your brain and logic to see things as they really are!

Although you may love a person or a situation, sit back and look at it for what it truly is. Take your emotions out of the situation. Is this person truly helping you establish the empire that you want to create for yourself or are you just truly being led by your feelings and physical attractions?

He also shows up to tell us that all of the hard work and discipline that we've had over the past few months is definitely going to bring us much success and allow for us to create the life that we want. Look out for new opportunities this week to arrive that will push us toward manifesting our dreams. Find new ways to save money and learn to set boundaries with your finances.

Remember that you are the Ruler of your Kingdom and all that you can have anything you desire. Sometimes you just have to get away from people that emotionally manipulate you and use you for their own good. Yes you do it because you love them, but how long will you continue to be stupid?! You know what you want and what you desire but you continue to deal with peoples bullshit because you care for them! Fuck that!! They don't support you and they don't give a damn about your dreams and goals! Leave them alone!

It's time for you to get serious about establishing some major discipline and structure in your life! Time to cut off those mfs that don't want you to be successful and don't support your vision. Ultimately this life is up to you! Get firm and make it happen!
