The Fool- A Journey through the Major Arcana



 

EMBARK ON A NEW PATH!


During this current season where the world is experiencing so much change I was inspired to take a journey through the Major Arcana of the Tarot. The power of the Tarot cards has always been an inspiration to me, each card representing some sort of universal life theme that we all have experienced at some time in our life. While some of our lives have seemed to be turned upside down, many of us have taken this time to reevaluate what we find important to us, make much needed changes and take advantage of this down time that we have with our family. I'm excited to invite you on this journey with me as I explore The Major Arcana Tarot Cards where I will focus on one card each week to help us discover more about ourselves so that we can manifest the life that we want!

 

THE FOOL- NEW BEGINNINGS


I decided that it was time for me to make some much needed changes in my life. I sat in the still darkness of the middle of the night and spoke with Spirit who reminded me that I could be anything that I wanted to be, and I could make any changes that I wanted to make at ANYTIME! I needed no ones permission. Currently at a crossroad on my path I was seeking guidance on which way I should go, and what it was I should actually be doing with my life! I admit, I felt lost and clueless. Over these past few years I'd tried so many business ventures, experienced many losses and wasn't sure if I had the energy to pour into yet another idea or opportunity only to experience failure once again. But as I sat there in the silence of the morning I decided that this would indeed be my time! I decided that I would take this time to seize the moment and commit to embarking on my true spiritual path and create the life that I wanted by any means necessary!


As we look at the image on the Fool Tarot card we see a young man, strolling along the edge of a cliff, head held high to the sky with his dog as his companion and only a small amount of things in his satchel. He's looks free, energetic and almost seems clueless to the dangers of being to close to the edge of this rock. The sun is shining brightly over him and I can almost feel the cool breeze of opportunity flowing from the cascade mountains in the background.


THIS WAS ME!!!


This is a time of new beginnings! The Fool card tells us that it's time to jump out there, take a risk and follow our hearts! Now is the time for you to start a new chapter, now is the time for you to start again! Regardless of what you may have experienced in your past the Fool encourages you to look ahead to the true path and spiritual calling that awaits you! His child like optimism and playful energy tells us to have fun, and seek out the things in our life that will truly bring us joy!


With everything going on this year many people feel like there whole world has come to a complete halt and in some sense it has, but the Fool card tells that even if we're starting from nothing only great things await us in the future! You've got to make the move! You got to start the journey even if its one that you have to make alone. Ask yourself what is it that I've given up on? What is it that I really want my life to look like? Who am I and who do I want to become? After asking yourself these questions, look at your answers, meditate on those things you want and know that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!


As we meditate on the Fool card at the beginning of this series this week I would encourage you to seek out new opportunities and take full advantage of them! Start writing the book! Begin that exercise routine! Start that business! Start looking for that home in your dream city! Whatever it is that you really want to have I would ask that you work towards that goal this week! Some may call you crazy, some people will doubt you but realize this is your life and you deserve to have everything that you want! Realize that this path may be one that you have to take alone and some people may not see your vision but trust that Spirit is going to bring the right people in your life that will help you make your dreams a reality! The Fool reminds us to trust that Spirit is guiding us to our destiny and now is the time to move forward towards our future. Remain optimistic, open and expect for things to easily start manifesting! Look for doors to open in areas of your life that may have been closed before.This is a new beginning, so don't be scared to take that leap of faith and GO FOR IT!!!
